A smooth river stone perched atop an open, linen-bound journal, its pages gently rippling as if caught in a soft breeze. The journal rests on a sunlit wooden table, with tiny, scattered sprigs of lavender and a single delicate feather nearby. Soft morning sunlight filters through sheer curtains, creating a play of light and subtle shadow across the textured cover and polished stone. The scene exudes a calm, contemplative mood, with a minimalist, clean composition using a gentle, eye-level perspective. The style is photographic realism softened by natural, diffused light, symbolizing the daily process of personal reflection and inner balance central to a blog about self rediscovery.

The In-Beteween Days

Each post records small, honest steps toward balance, inviting reflection on where I am, how I feel, and what I can choose to nurture next.

About Me

About Me

I’m a working mother living in a season of becoming.

Six months into motherhood, back at a full-time job, holding a home together, caring for my baby and my dog — my days are full, layered, and constantly shifting. Some days feel steady. Some feel overwhelming. Most live somewhere in between.

This space exists because I needed a place to pause.

I’m learning that postpartum isn’t just about recovery — it’s about identity. About meeting yourself again in a new body, a new rhythm, a new responsibility. I’m not trying to return to who I was. I’m learning how to carry who I am now.

Here, I write about real life as it unfolds:

  • motherhood without gloss
  • work and responsibility
  • hair, skin, and body changes
  • routines that work on tired days
  • comfort, small joys, and quiet favourites
  • baby must-haves that actually helped

I don’t write to teach or to perform.
I write to remember.
To document this season honestly.
To make space for the days that don’t fit into neat categories.

If you’re navigating a season of change —
if you’re holding many roles at once —
if you’re figuring things out as you go —

you’re welcome here.

These are my in between days.
And this is me, learning to honour them.
